After ten years of living in New Zealand, I finally embrace the fact that we don’t have white winter Christmas here. Rather we have stunningly warm summer days in December. Kiwis spend our Christmas on the beach, basking in the sun, going for a swim and feasting on the BBQ. I’m lucky that I could spend Christmas with George’s family down in the sunny Motueka for the past 6 years. It is such a special place in my heart. The weather, the company, the food — everything about this place is beautiful.
